I know...strange choices...

Which would you choose, 2A/2C (5&9), all would be for supper.

1. I've heard Chef Mickey's is really fun for the kids & the buffet is to be very good as well, but we'd have to go off park property to do so.

2. Also, heard LC was very good place & both my kids do like steak which they can get on child's menu. We were thinking of maybe doing Epcot this day anyway.

3. I haven't heard much about GG, but there will be characters for the kids & also, it's in Epcot which we are leaning to be at on this day.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!! :)

I have never done LC, and know it's extremely hard to get an ADR, so I guess if I ever got one I'd take it. We just ate at GG this past August for the first time and we loved it. The characters came around a couple times, the food was really good, the dessert was amazing, although I'm still not sure if that was ice cream or whip cream on top (if you get it you'll understand). I had been to CM's about 3 years ago and there were characters there as well. I think I would have to give the edge to GG here. CM's food was good, but I like the natural/sustanible aspect of the food at GG. Also, GG is a bit more peacefull and the rotating dinning room is neat. Being a buffet, CM's is much more hectic and busy.

Long story short I'd rank them:
1. LC
2. GG
3. CM

Are you doing other character meals during your stay? If not, and that's what you're looking for, I'd say GG. We are trying it for the first time on our upcoming trip, but I have read that the character interaction is one of the best.
If you have other character meals planned - or that's not super important - Le Cellier is yummy! The atmosphere is just OK...nothing too exciting for the kids, but definitely a place you have to try!
We were less than impressed with CM. We went for dinner, and the buffet was yucky - like cold cafeteria food. I felt like we spent a lot of time waiting for the characters to come around, so it was a disppointing meal to us. People seem to love it though, so who knows!?

We've never eated at LC so no idea on that one

We did eat at GG for the first time in September and had a great time. Saw Chip and Dale both twice. Chip even sat down with us for awhile! I thought the character interaction was really wonderful. The whole rotating thing wasn't a "wow" but it wasn't bad - you just don't see much. The food was really good. Our family gave it 2 thumbs up and we plan to return next year

I don't see CM as being out of park that much since you can walk, take the monorail or a boat there fairly quickly. We do CM every year but tend towards breakfast because we think the food is a lot better. Characters are a bit hit or miss sometimes they do seem rushed.
