Chef Mickey vs Crystal Palace

Havent been to CM yet, we are going in April, but CP is awesome and great for getting into MK before the park opens

The Crystal Palace is a must dine for me on every trip for both breakfast & dinner. The food and character interaction is great. If this is a non-AM EMH day, then I would try to get an ADR for 8am. This gets you into the park (just Main Street) before everyone else and it's pretty cool to see the park empty.

Another vote for Crystal Palace. We did both places for breakfast on our last trip, and while they both offer a good buffet, Crystal Palace just seems much more "magical" and the character interaction seemed a bit better. And if you can get an early ADR, you will LOVE Main Street first thing in the day!

Depends who you wanna meet! My fave is CM but my best friend loves CP. We're doing both again this time. CM had Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Pluto. They were all fun and it was relaxed (we were off to one side). We took our time eating and wandered around the contemporary as we left. CP had WTP, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. They got the kids dancing and it was all crazy fun. We did love the fact, however, that with CP we walked up main street with hardly anyone there because we had an early booking.

Not sure about mickey but I think you get minnie, goofy, pluto, chip and dale normally. You can meet Mickey in toontown if necessary!

Looking at these 2 for a breakfast meal the day we go to MK. Which is better?

I've been going to CM (and its predecessor) for like 20 years. I always make it a point of going every trip for sentimental reasons. But the CP is better. CM is loud and crazy with napkin waving and things like that. And the CP is in the Mk and if you can get in before the park opens, you'll have some great crowd-less pictures.

How about CP for breakfast because you are going to the park that day. Then on another day do Chef Mickey's for dinner. You can ride the monorail over after a day at Epcot. I say this because that is a real hard decision. They are both favorites of mine. Although I am partial to Mickey (CM).
