Chef Mickey Question

Our first trip was in 2004 and we ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's. We are now planning our 5th trip to the "world" and after dining at 3 other character meals other than Mickey's we have decided that it is time for a trip back there. My problem is what time? The first year we had the very earliest seating I think it was 7:00 AM. This year we are going to do breakfast on a day that we just intend to relax, etc. We want to go eat breakfast (not extremely early) and then just be able to go back and soak up some sun and fun at the pool, etc. What time should I make our reservation for? I know that they serve until 11:30, I don't want to wait that long but would like to hit somewhere after the huge morning rush but not so late that the food on the bar isn't rotating well. What would you all advise?

I guess I would say 9am when the park opens. Most people will scatter then and it won't be as crowded.

We ate at 11:15 I think... It was enjoyable and the food was good. I used it as an early lunch for us.

We ate at 11:10 last June. The food was still very fresh, but yet the restaurant wasn't so crowded. It was only about half full. The characters were spending lots of time at each table--terrific way to begin our first trip!!

We have eaten at 11:10 a.m. TWICE at Chef Mickey's and throughly enjoyed it. THey continued to bring out fresh food. It was not crowded and the character interaction was awesome--including some character group shots with our boys and 3 or 4 characters!!

Party of 10 last May waited over 1.5 hour for seating even thought we had a 6:00pm seating and arrived early by 15 minutes. Will not go back.

we had a 9:45 AM ADR. No real wait to be seated. Most tables were full but it did not feel crowded.
