I just thought of somethin...we have CM ressies on Sun Sept 20th at 7:50. I should know this, but having never been to CM before, can you see Wishes from there?
Also, we're going to be at Seaworld that day, so would it be best to have our transportation take us back to Pop first and hop a bus to MK to get to Chef Mickey's from there? Or just have them drop us at MK?

You cannot see Wishes from Chef Mickey's.

However you get to MK, you can either walk to the Contemporary or ride the monorail over from there. Alternative transportation (only the Disney buses go directly to MK) would drop you off at the Ticket and Transportation Center, not at MK itself. Then you will need to ride the full circuit on the monorail to get to the Contemporary. If you are taking Mears or a car service or a taxi, maybe you could have them drop you off right at the Contemporary. What you want to do will depend on how much time you have to make your ADR.

You can see Wishes from the Contemporary. Samanta Brown from the Travel Channel says it's her favorite spot. You used to be able to take the elevator to the top resturant to see the fireworks but they now only allow dining guests access.

The contemporary has an observation deck to watch Wishes with the music. The deck can get pretty crowded so I like to go out on a regular quest floor (bring a towel or something to prop the door so it doesn't lock behind you) above the observation deck and watch. My favorite spot is out on the highest guest floor available but it's harder to hear the music. Also, getting an elevator in the Contemporary after the fireworks is a major pain due to the crowds.
