Which is better.....foodwise and character-wise?

THANKS!
PS which characters are at each one?

We love both, just did Chef M yesterday, tons of pics in my link and of Cape May in my Oct link.

I think we are going to prefer Chefs because there are more characters and they have that yummy breakfast pizza

Thanks! I always enjoy your reports! And I think we'll end up doing Chef's anyhow since we're staying at Poly and it's an easy monorail ride over. Just wondered if there was some "WOW" type of reason to go to Cape May instead. Although would be soooo fun seeing M&M in their swimming attire! :cutie:

I like Cape May better. I think it's a prettier restaurant, and I like the characters in their swimwear. If I remember correctly, the characters are Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Chip. Oddly enough, no Dale. The food is pretty much the same both places. If you have someone with you who just has to see Mickey, obviously you should go with Chef Mickey's.

I also have done both.. and I "think" Chef Mickeys had a bit more to offer. Plus they also take your picture in front of the Big Plate. Yes you do have to pay for it... but nice momento. I also think Chef Mickeys if more of a party atmosphere...alot of fun. Cape May is very nice... food is good... less characters... but still nice.

Done Chef Mickey's for dinner and love it, but never done breakfast. Cape May breakfast is awesome! We've done it twice, and plan to do it again.

Cape May is very good but if you want variety then Chef Mickey's is for you. That's our favorite buffet breakfast on property although we just tried Donald's breakfast at the Animal Kingdom and that was very good as well. It has different items and quite a variety of yummies! This used to be calle Breakfastasaurus (not sure of the correct spelling) and was not very good at all. Very much improved!

We make it a tradition to eat breakfast at Cape May on check out day. The food is good and the character interaction is great. It's Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale in their beach attire..and they usually come by the table 2 or 3 times during our meal.

I vote for Cape May too. To me, it's smaller and less chaotic than CM. I don't want to start my day off with screaming mania (I need to work my way up to it during the day :lmao: )

The food is good at Cape May and the character interaction is good. And I've had some of the best servers there! Plus I love the chance to visit the BC. It would also depend on whether I was going to MK or EP that day.

We love Cape May because it's more intimate. CMs is just so HUGE! The characters do work very hard at both, though. We like Cape May before an Epcot World Showcase day - walk or take the boat over.

Chip & Dale are no longer at Cape May. It's Goofy, Minnie and Donald.

All of a sudden, Donald is a very popular duck! 10 years ago you NEVER saw him, now he's at a lot of places.

okay, I will be dumb and ask the question... where is Cape May? And how would one get there from a resort?

Chef Mickey's has a great atmosphere and it's got the classic chracters which are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.
