Chef Mickey Now open for lunch!!

I just booked lunch for 9/2 (Labor Day weekend) at 1:40 at Chef Mickey! We love CM - I go a from DD when she heard me making the ADR!

The CM said she thinks the menu sounds better than dinner.... she prefers b-fast over dinner there - so I am anxious to see what they have!

I confirmed it is a character meal (that was my assumption prior to asking)- a previous poster had asked the question and I don't think anyone answered!

I'm not going on vacation, and I have eight ADRs between now and Christmas Day!! Still need to figure out something for NYE/NY day.... see if I can get it!

Things should be real intresting with people who will be "rushed through there breakfast". I know we have a 11:20 ADR and even though most times we're there early we still don't get seated until after 11:30. it is only 2 of us so we're usally done in around an hour , but people with families/kids usally take longer becuase of all the interaction. I expect in the next month to be reading many posts from people whoes breakfast was "ruined" becuase they were rushed out to get ready fro the lunch changeover.

I wouldn't worry about that, WDW offers many other buffets including character buffets (CP) that serve breakfast lunch and dinner without problems or complaints. I have done a few including CP and never felt rushed with breakfast. In my experience around noonish they just transition one of the buffet sides to lunch while keeping the other stocked with breakfast options. They don't close the restaurant, they just transition the foods offered.

We just booked lunch for Sept 30 as well for 12:40pm. See you there. We'll be sad cause that's our departure date.

Hi! We'll be there at 1:30PM and can't wait! I know how you feel about being sad the very last day. I remember being very emotional on our last trip in 2004. But of course, planning the next vacation helped a great deal with my post trip depression! Hope to see you there and have a wonderful trip!
