WHAT IS A BBQ Georgia Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused3

Well I am a country girl;) and that's what we call it in these parts, well some of these parts in Georgia, we all get out in the backyard, the adults and young’ns, we fire up a big barrel grill. and “O” do we grill and smoke(smoke our foods) all kinds of food like chicken, ribs, sausage, turkey, deer steaks, pig.quail Then along with that we have, low country boil, Brunswick stew, we have potato salad, baked beans with hamburger and bacon in it, and on top of that we have banana pudding, homemade churned ice cream, and red velvet cake:cake: , and oh I cant forget 3 day brewed sweet tea, and for three day's I keep hearing is the tea ready yet :worship: ? They know to ask first because it is not sweetened:laughing: until it is ready to serve. Whatever can go on a homemade grill we put on it and yes we make our own grills!, but for a more traditional way of eating foods usually outdoors cooked on a store bought grill or gas grill, one would call it a Barbecue. The lunch menu at chef M's just said it was barbecue themed, mojo chicken, mojo is a Latin sauce which is citrus based very light and flavorful and then they mentioned the traditional American barbecue, I hope that that this clarifies what kind of bar-b-q this Georgia Girl is used to!,But Chef M’s sounded just find to me also!:thumbsup2

Probably not, as they are offering lunch only between August 24 and September 27. Someone who has one of those time machine DeLoreans might be able to find out.

Oh darn....I didn't realize it was just temporary. Oh well. Guess one less restaurant for ME to choose from since I'm not going for quite a while. :rotfl2:

We were at WDW during Free Dining last year and ate at Chef Mickey's twice -- once for dinner the night we got there, once for lunch the day we left (couldn't get breakfast!) -- and the offerings were the same at both meals.

Don't have any idea if it will be the same this year, though.

Chef Mickey breakfast, lunch and dinner is all booked up for our timeframe 9/20-9/24. Just checked this morning. I thought that the lunch might have availability as it was newly created. I haven't been able to find a menu for the lunch posted anywhere, myself.

We were there on Aug 30. Our ADR was for 1:50, however, we arrived at 12:40 and were seated immediately. We had ribs, salmon, a baked chicken on the bone dish, Mickey-shaped ravioli, another pasta dish with cream sauce and veggies, cheesy potatoes, baked beans (I think), mixed veggies. There was probably more, but I've been on the Magic since then and the food is all kind of running together....in a good way!
