I need to whittle it to two. Chef Mickey would be a breakfast while the other two would be lunches. We've never been to any of these and I'd love to try somewhere new. My DD, 11, can be weird about food at times. (although she was the only 2 year old around who loved cheesecake and wanted that for a bday cake :rotfl: not to mention her love of raw tofu) She is good about trying new things but looking at the food porn pics, she saw some things at these places that looked "yummy" so any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks! :goodvibes

For me, I'd pick Kona and Chef Mickey's. Kona ha a really interesting menu with some nice selections on it. Chef Mickey's is just sort of a Disney tradition in my book!

I love Le Cellier but honestly to me, it isn't the end all be all. Especially at lunch. I dont' find the atmosphere all that interesting either. Kona also has no atmosphere but the food is wonderful and more varied and unique than Le Cellier.

But heck, any of them are good and you can't make a bad choice!

I've never been to any of them so I'm so excited to try something new. People are so mixed on Chef Mickey so I wanted to hear from people who had been there and actually tried it for themselves! Thank you. I think I'll be booking that one definitely! :thumbsup2

Your daughter will love Chef Mickey's! Its pure Disney, I know my daughter (who is 12) is counting the days til we eat there (for probably the 5th time at least). In fact, two weeks from this moment, I'll probably be about ready to check in at the podium for our 6:20 ADR!

It does get mixed reviews along with all the other places, but its always been great for us. A lot of fun and the food has always been very good.

We did all 3 when we were there 5/17-24. Only we did dinner at Chef Mickeys. The atmosphere at Chef Mickeys was a blast, we did this meal just for the characters, but the food was not bad. I honestly thought the food at Le Cellier and Kona was pretty equal. I did love the cheese soup at Le Cellier, and my girls loved the pretzel bread. If I had to choose one to return to, it would most likely be LeCellier. Overall we had a better experience there, our server was so much better (the one at Kona must have been having a really bad day!!) And it was also nice because we were already at Epcot, and did not have to lose any park time traveling to a different location.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of these places! :thumbsup2

DBF and I also did all 3 on our trippie last year, and It's so hard to choose only 2!! I LOVE Le Cellier's filet mignon. It was literally so tender it could be cut with a plastic spoon! Kona was also yummy! I got the teriyaki steak with a fondu dessert and it was amazing! Now Chef Mickey's atmosphere was really fun, but the food was about the same as Crystal Palace to me... Which i like, but it wouldnt be my first choice to go as far as food's concerned.

That's what I was thinking about Chef Mickey. We've done character interaction in the past and she enjoys it, but she's also older now where she likes to explore different things as long as it's not too out there! She wants in on that pretzel bread, I know that, and she thought Kona looked interesting. Chef Mickey was someplace I'd heard so many mixed reviews on but so many say it's a must do that I didn't want to be missing out! :lmao: I wish I knew the October hours so I could just get this set in stone and make my ressies. I'm not a patient person at all!

My choices would be Le Cellier and Kona Cafe. The food at Chef Mickey's just gets too many bad reviews for me.
We loved Kona, the food and service were great and it is fun to wander about the beautiful Poly.
We like Le Cellier, but I do not think it lives up to the huge hype her on the DIS. It is good, just not outstanding.
Have a Great Trip

That's a big plus for Kona. I've always wanted to wander around the Poly. At first I was considering dinner with watching the fireworks from the beach but my DD and I love watching Wishes in the MK too much! Thanks for the opinions. :goodvibes

Thank you all for the opinions, and keep them coming! I'm trying to tally it all up in my head to make a good choice. I wish we could fit all three but it's looking like that would be near impossible.

I would do Chef Mickey and Kona. Honestly, we have never done CM breakfast for the food...it is more for the atmosphere and seeing, what is to me, the "main" Dis characters and get pics. The food is just so so, borderline not good at times. Kona I have never had a bad meal there.
