Chef Mickey Dinner -- Fireworks visible?

I just booked an 8:30 pm dinner for a Sunday night in December. It's a Christmas Party night and we're not going to the party that night. I'm wondering if we will be able to see the fireworks from the Contemporary if we are dining at Chef Mickey's? Has anyone done this? I can't find information as to what time the fireworks are on a Christmas party night, so not even sure if with the timing of our dinner this is possible?

Anyone can go to the observation deck off the 4th floor.

Last year's fireworks were at 9:30. With an 8:30 CM, you are likely to miss part or all of the fireworks.
