I have two breakfast adrs at CM 10/3 and 10/4 having seen some reviews I am considering cancelling them any views?

Cancel one of them. If you have small children they will enjoy it no matter how the food is.

I agree with the PP, cancel one of them and see if you can get an adr at Crystal Palace for the different characters. Food is basically the same, although I have always like Crystal Palace better.

Definitely cancel one of them just because ...

As far as the other one, Disney breakfast buffet food is kinda standard - bacon, eggs, potato casserole, waffles, etc. If you like that kind of thing, keep it - if you don't then drop the ADR :confused3

Chef Mickey's is OK, but I agree with everyone else- cancel one of them. I wouldn't do it twice.

Cancel one...the food is ok and the meal will take you about 1 and 1/2 plus to get through...that is to see all of the characters.

Cancel one, and book something else. Disney has way too many interesting restaurants to go to the same one twice in the same trip, unless the food is outstanding.
I haven't done Chef Mickey's, but I have done many of the other character buffets, and the food is never great.
Even if you book a different restaurant that has the same general characters, the change of scenery is nice.

Are you staying at CR, and/or which park do you have planned for that day?

I agree cancel one of them, maybe go to 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, Cape May or Donald's breakfast at AK.

We've been once and the food was . But the atmosphere was great!

If you have to experience it for yourself, then do it, but by no means subject yourself to it twice in one week.

There are plenty of great breakfasts - O'hana and Crystal Palace are my favorites.

Cancel 1. There are too many other great restaurants to do any of them twice in one trip. We have a CM ressie for T'giving morning, but we're waffling on if we're going to keep it or not. :confused3

I have to agree - cancel one. We personally enjoy it for dinner much more for dinner, but breakfast wasn't bad, and Chef Mickey's is a must-do on our list every trip. Try for Crystal Palace - we thought the breakfast was better!

We were not a big fan of Chef Mickey's. Thought the food was ok and it was NOISY!! We loved Ohana's breakfast. Food was great, character interaction was good and our daughter has a good time with the parade. I would definately cancel 1.

we do chef mickey's every year--either breakfast or dinner. the kids (ds 11, dd 7) never seem to tire of it. But I too wouldn't recommend it twice for breakfast in the same trip. We have also done Donald's Breakfastasaurus (now Tusker House) and Ohana for character breakfasts--both were a lot of fun, too.:)

I agree with cancelling one and keeping one. We loved Chef Mickey and we were two adults.

I agree with the other posters. I would cancel one of your CM adrs. The food was not great (DD then 13 only ate donuts and sausage) and the restaurant was noisy. However, the character interaction was great!!! I would go once and choose something else for the other day.

Will have a look on whats available. I had been trying for Tusker house but nothing was available will have a look at that new restaurant.

We ate breakfast at CM in March (pics in link) and it was delish! I would def go again but not twice, especially 2 big breakfasts back to back like that. Pick something else like Kona or GFC...or even the Wave.

Cancelled both Chef Mickey's. Looked online to try and book the new restaurant Kouzzinna but it only had a phone number so tried to book Grand Floridian cafe, 1900 park fare and Tusker house and only got Kouzzinna reservations available so I took them.

If you have two reservations, I think one would suffice.

I don't think going solely on other people's reviews is a good idea, though. I have heard so many bad things about Chef Mickey's that I was worried and wanted to cancel the ADR. About a week ago, we ate at Chef Mickey's and I am so glad we did. Everything we tried tasted great and we all had a good time. It is now one of our favorite restaurants and I will definitely book it again for upcoming trips.

We have been to Chef Mickey's for both breakfast and dinner and have thoroughly enjoyed both.
