I know that they are absolutely nothing alike, but can anyone give me a review? It's just DH and I. We've never been to either and don't really know what to expect.

Chef Mickeys for breakfast or dinner?

California Grill - is it as good as it's view?

Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

We have only done Chef Mickeys for breakfast..it is a lot of fun and the food is good. It has been a while since hubby and I have been there. We like to take our out of town company there on the first day to get a kiss from Mickey to start their vacation just right.

CA Grill...hubby and I tried this again a few weeks back. We had dinner and were there for wishes. We do not see what all the hype is about. The fireworks are much better from main street in the MK. The food, while some of it good, is mostly mediocre for such an expensive restaurant. Service was very good. We will not return again.

We went to Chef Mickey's for dinner just last week. We took my parents and our two girls. However, my hubby enjoyed it just as much (maybe more) than the kids. There was a big selection of food and the large aisles made it easy to get around with all the kids there.

As far as which meal, that depends on you. I, myself, felt more justified spending $26 per person for dinner rather than breakfast.

Either one your choose, enjoy yourself!

We did both last trip. Chef Mickey's was for dinner. The characters were great, but the food was just okay - very bland- in my opiniion. I will definitely go again with my kids, but I would not do it without them.

Our meal at California Grilll was delicious! We enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert. The view was great, but we ate too early for fireworks.

CM is casual, loud, and a buffet. We saw lots of kids at both. CG is somewhat loud for a sit down, but we did not think it to be overly loud. I have read there is a wine room that you might get without kids. I just don't want you to think you will have a quiet, romantic dinner!

They are both fun but very different from each other!
