Which would you choose? We will be going with 5 girls (ages 4-10 years). 2 of them REALLY want to see Mickey and Donald.......thank you!!!

I think they are both good but I lean toward dinner because I just don't tend to eat as much at breakfast. Plus I find it nice to relax with a sit down meal at the end of the day. Not that CM's is necessarily a relaxing atmosphere, but we do love it :)

Sorry Newbie question. Can someone just confirm for me that Chef Mickey is the only restaurant to eat with Mickey and Friends??

I have been to both breakfast and dinner there and prefer the food at breakfast. Neither meal is really fantastic but breakfast is better, and cheaper.

I know Tusker House and maybe Cape May Cafe have both Mickey and Donald.

We've done both and while we found the characters great at both meals... the food at dinner - at least the night we went - was horrible. While it's much harder to mess up breakfast, and that may be part of it...the breakfast food and service were significantly better than dinner.

We've eaten both meals and while I will say the food hasn't been particularly good at either, the breakfast was the better of the two.

I have had both. With my family its better for us to do dinner, as none of us like to get up and eat right away. Yes we could do a late breakfast but we typically do the parks commando style.

We have done breakfast at least 3 times and dinner once. the dinner food was awful. We book the latest breakfast possible around 11:15 am, arrive at MK at rope drop, do some rides and then head over to Chef Mickey's for "brunch."

We ate dinner at CM last year and we weren't impressed. The service and food were both sub-par. The characters made their rounds but you didn't want to get up to get dessert for fear of missing them!

We are going to try Tusker House this time. They just added characters (Mickey, etc.) for lunch about a month ago. I have heard wonderful things about TH so I am excited to try something new! Hopefully the entire experience will be better.

never had breakfast there, but i really enjoyed dinner. My logic is that if I'm going to pay $30+ for a meal, I 'd rather have carved meats, etc than eggs and bacon.... even if it is a few bucks more than breakfast

Thanks everyone...if we do CM, it will be breakfast........

i will look into this...thank you!!!

Between breakfast and dinner at CM, the breakfast is by far better. The dinner is horrible and while the breakfast isn't the best breakfast ever it is certainly better than the dinner! :)

Liberty tree has them as well :)
where have you been? Lol. Liberty Tree hasnt had characters in years!

If your kids want to see mickey & friends, i would go with Tusker House for either lunch or breakfast. The food is sooooo much better than CM. The quality of food at CM's is terrible. I'd never go back.

I agree with this statement. For our September trip my kids really want to go back to CM just to see the Fab Five (the food makes no difference to them) and I said if we were to ever go back, it will be for breakfast.
