Chef Mickey at New Year's Eve

I have ressies for Chef Mickey at 9pm on Dec 31. Because we arrive during the day to Orlando, I will love to see the fireworks in MK .Can we see them from the observation deck at CR after the dinner ?

On the concourse where Chef Mickey's is located, if you walk to the exact opposite end of the floor there are doors that lead outside. A small seating area is set up there where you can watch Wishes. I've been told they also pipe in the music.
