I am hoping to take my two girls (4 & 2) to Chef Mickey on Thursday Dec.8 for dinner- we are arriving that day and will not be going to the park. However I cannot get an ADR, should we still try or is it unlikely that we will be seated. We do have an ADR at Gullivers and are staying at the Dolphin so we have an option. Has anyone ever been to the character meal at Gullivers?

I would keep trying to get and ADR and then if that fails would just show up to see if you can get in that way. If that doesn't work go on back over to Gulliver's or try some place else that's close, like WCC or O'hana.

I too would also keep calling to see if there is a cancellation. Good luck! We are also going to WC and Ohana those are good too, and what about Boma?

I wouldn't go all the way to the Comtemporary to try to be seated at CM without an ADR unless I was already going to be over that way. I'm not sure that I would eat at Gullivers either though. I've heard that the character interaction isn't great. I think I'd try to get an ADR at one of the other non-park character meals (1900 Park Faire or Cape May Clam Bake) instead.

EDITED TO ADD - Nevermind, I just realized Gulliver's isn't a character meal in the evenings. I thought you were trying to get another character meal. There are lots of fun non-park resturants. WCC and Ohanas are great choices, as is Boma or how about Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club, no ADRs there
