Chef Mickey after AK (closes at 6pm)

We are new to Disney and the dining plan... trying to fit in a Mickey character dining for our son. We were wondering how bad it would be to try to get to Chef Mickey's after AK closes for dinner?

I'm not really sure what you're asking.

Are you confused about the location of Chef Mickey's? It's in the Contemporary Resort, next door to the Magic Kingdom, which is at the north end of the Disney property.

Animal Kingdom is located in the south west corner, about as far as you can get from Chef Mickey's.

If you're asking how to get to Chef Mickey's from AK, it's not too difficult. Just catch a bus for the Contemporary Resort.

It takes about 20 minuts for a bus to get to CR from AK. There is the time to exit the Park from wherever you are plus wait time for the bus. Generally at a Park closing they run continuously.

A lot depends on when you are going; if you can even get a reservation for CM.

We are doing the same thing. We have a 6:40 at CM on our AK day.
