Chef Art Florida Homecoming - hard to get ADR?

Looking for reservations for a Monday at end of August , it turns out there is nothing available between 5pm and 9pm for that whole week. How is this possible , is it really that busy or is there some other way to make reservations ?

It seems like they're not allowing reservations between 6 and 9pm. I've seen a ton of reservations before 6 and after 9, but nothing in-between. A friend of mine saw the same thing.

It's my understanding that they must be open for at least a month before ADRs can go live- properly- on MDE. So, that may be the issue. We were there a couple of weeks ago and walked right in for lunch.

No restaurant publishes a direct phone number. It is not possible to call a restaurant directly

They seem pretty active on social media - Twitter especially but also have a Facebook page and website. Maybe you could ask there? Or as others suggested, call Disney Dining directly.

I have been looking every day for the last few weeks and 5-9 reservations have been unavailable...until yesterday! I was able to book a 7:30pm reservation in September so definitely check again.

This isn't true. There are plenty of restaurants in Disney Springs and at Swan/Dolphin that you can call directly (Boathouse, Morimoto Asia, all the Landry's restaurants, Raglan Road, etc.) and also reserve through opentable.com. Unfortunately, Homecoming is not one of them.

When I tried to book a comment came up where the times should be to call Disney Dining directly

We called this morning WDW-DINE and they had nothing listed that wasn't on-line. The restaurants actual website does list their direct phone number - however it indicates to call the WDW-DINE number or follow a link to Disney ADR's for reservations. I'm not bold enough to call the restaurant directly. We will just keep trying!

We have been to Homecoming four times since it opened, two before ADRs available and two after, and have never once had trouble getting in. It is often packed, but the wait was never more than 5 minutes.

I just checked and booked a 7:30 for dinner. I had a 5:55 that I had booked the first day of ADR availability and have been looking for later ever since then. I saw a 7:10, 7:30, and 8:00 for September 14.

I've been constantly checking for ADR's for the 31st August and couldn't get anything after 6pm. Just checked again and all the options from 7-9pm are finally showing so I think they have just opened them up on MDE
