mamajoan that and a DRIVE THRU STARBUCKS!!! one can only hope!! :goodvibes[/QUOTE said:
Oh we have a bunch of those. There's one right by house and it's making people mad because our city has an ordinance that does not allow drive-thus. Yet, Starbucks has one.

Cheesecake Factory is set up so dysfunctionally it isn't even funny. That is a huge part of why the waits are horrible. Everything has it's own little station that it comes from, part of the reason why you get food at the bakery counter so much faster--desserts aren't part of the traditional kitchen. Also part of the reason why service can be slow; a server will literally have to go to 4 places to get 4 different drinks that are located no where near each other. But anyhow...

For those of you who love their cheesecakes, they have 1-800 number that you can order a (whole, 7" or 10") cheesecake from and have delivered to your front door. Makes a great gift too. You can do it online too at Cheesecake Factory. They also have a cheesecake of the month (every or every other) too.

The Cheesecake Factory have the best veggie burgers I have ever eaten...hands down.

Uhh...we need a drooling smilie.

You all are so lucky to have a CCF near you.

Check out my tag, I can only dream about having one so close.

We love The Cheesecake Factory but our closest one is 4 hours away. My personal favorite is the Linda's Chocolate Fudge Cake. I think I'll have to try the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake.

I've never been. I know there's one in Boston. Maybe I'll go there soon. I'm not a huge fan of sweets, but cheesecake is my weakness. :teeth:

Another Cheesecake Factory fan here! :wave: There is one on the harbor in Baltimore. We always at least get dessert there when we go for a day trip. The texture of their cheesecakes are just perfect. {sigh}

The Cheesecake Factory is my favorite restaurant. We dont have one anywhere near us though. Before kids, DH and I would do a weekend trip to Vegas to eat there (okay, so went to Vegas for other things too- but the Cheesecake Factory was on the list of must dos).

Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. :cheer2:

They sell this at Sam's Club and Costco now. I've bought it twice. :teeth:

I think I paid about $15 for the 12-serving size, but it is worth EVERY PENNY. They also sell the raspberry white chocolate and the plain. There is also an assortment, but for some reason that one doesn't taste as good.

And yes, I DO consider myself a cheesecake expert! :teeth:

One opened up last November in the mall where I work. The waits were 2-3 hrs. I thought by Feb. they would have calmed down, but no! I planned to go there for my birthday dinner and went an hour or so before I told everyone else to come and they told me it was going to be a min. of 4 hrs.!!!!! Can you believe it!? Well, that was the end of that idea! :rotfl: Needless to say, we didn't have dinner there, but I did do a few take-out pieces of cheesecake! Wow! Now that is some good cheesecake! ::yes::

I love this place. We actually have 3 driving distance from us (30 minutes or less) We don't go often due to the wait as several others have mentioned. I love their food - the menu is HUGE - so much to choose from. Most times I have no room for the cheesecake but we usually take a piece or two home to share............

YUMMY!

Mmmmmmm! My boyfriend and I ate at one for the first time for our Valentines Day dinner this year and were in heaven! I had a delicious pesto pasta, and we each took home a piece of cheesecake to save for the next day because we were too stuffed from dinner. :)

That is my favorite restaurant!! They have the best chicken sandwich there ever. (Everyone I take there agress) It called the spicy, crispy chicken sandwich. But I get it without any sauce (which is the spicy part, I don't mind spice but I don't like sauce) and instead of the cheese that comes on it, mozarella. I think my version is much better. It is SOOO yummy!! I love that place! Unfortunately, the one we have is always packed unless you can go during the afternoon during the week. There is always a wait, sometimes up to 2 hours. (Yes, I've waited two hours to eat there - that's how much I love it!)

I really don't care about the cheesecake. Yeah, it's good, but I'd much rather eat some of their warm sourdough bread. Yum!

OK, part of the trick to avoiding the wait is to have something else to do around there. Most are by malls. Go, check in, then go shopping. If the wait is shorter than what you want, keep checking back until it's going to equal the time you want to eat. If you live close enough, order the food to go. Then all you have to do is go to the bakery counter, pick it up and eat immediately. You could also picnic with it too.

Also, their best dishes are the portabella burger and the chicken maderia. Yum!!

BTW--Cheesecake is the only dish they will split for you. You can eat half there & take half to go. Great if you ate to much. Or start with dessert!

<----Self-proclaimed Cheesecake Factory expert.

I just ate at my first one this past week while I was at a conference in Baltimore. Very yummy. The dinner was pretty good, and we were so full that we got the cheesecake to go. We didn't have a very long wait, but we were eating at 5:30. The cheesecake was so good we went back before our flight home, and got a few pieces to go for our families.

Loved the chocolate mousse, dulce de leche, and kahlua. Not so fond of the key lime (good, but no different than key lime pie.)

DH and I were standing right in front of The Cheesecake Factory in Boston last Monday, but didn't go in because He wasn't hungry (his stomach was upset)
I wanted to try the vegeburger, oh well, maybe next time. I ended up with a yogurt from a cart outside that I couldn't finish because it was warm...there's nothing worse than warm yogurt.

I LOVE the Cheesecake Factory! Their avocado eggrolls are beyond awesome. We got one of those Top-Secret Recipe's cookbooks and learned how to make them ourselves at home!

We had the avocado eggrolls a few weeks ago and we absolutely loved them. We have enjoyed all the entrees so far and its a good thing its not a short drive to the Cheesecake Factory. The turtle cheesecake is awesome!
