Cheesecake Factory favourite dishes

Been several years since we have eaten there. As I recall the menu tended to be pricey and HUGE portions of food. Even the cheesecake desserts are big enough to split between 2 people. Just looked at their online website menu and it doesn't show prices which tends to be an indication of how expensive things are............LOL.

I eat there occasionally, mostly for lunch, and usually order a salad or something from their “skinnylicious” menu. I like their lettuce wraps and other tacos.

IMO it’s reasonable. Like other national chains, I suspect prices vary by location. If you enter your zip code and choose a location on their website, the prices are displayed.

Honestly, I haven’t been much since they discontinued my favorite cheesecake. Craig’s Crazy Carrot Cake Cheesecake was my must have. Their other food is good, but nothing as memorable as this. Now you can pay double the price for a plain piece of cheesecake and a slice of carrot cake to try and get a similar experience, but it’s not the same.

Dear Cheesecake Factory,

BRING IT BACK!!!!

This was my favorite too! Now my favorite is the cookie dough cheesecake which was also brought back after a hiatus.

As far as entrees, I love their Thai Chicken Salad, Bang Bang Chicken & Shrimp, and Bistro Shrimp Pasta.

Their Cobb salad is amazing, but lots of calories.... still yum. When I am not feeling naughty I get the SkinnyLicious chopped which is disappointing knowing the Cobb is an option so I don't go often.

Is it better or worse than the Hollywood Brown Derby one?

My husband and I would always share an orange chicken and a slice of cheesecake when we were dating before heading to the movie theater located in the same mall. Now I usually get the bacon bacon burger on a GF bun with a side salad as there aren’t as many GF options on the menu. My husband usually varies it up based on what he feels like that day now, since they have so many different cuisine styles on the menu.

I love that bread! I usually get either Pasta Da Vinci or Chicken Madeira. Sometimes I just have a salad but they took away my favorite one. We have tried some of the different types of cheesecakes. You can’t go wrong with any of them.

It has been soooo long since I have eaten at Cheesecake Factory (pretty sure it was pre-Covid). It is a fun place to go, I like the ambiance too. Being the boring person that I am, I seem to only get a burger :rotfl2: But hey, it IS really good!

A barbecue bacon cheeseburger, barbecue sauce, bacon, and cheese on the side ;)

Always the stuffed mushrooms to start, with the yummy brown bread to soak up every bit of the sauce. I’ve gotten the chicken picatta many times but tried the chicken costelleta recently. It’s delicious & now I have a hard time deciding between them.
We don't have Cheesecake Factory in Canada and I've only ever been to one, once. I googled this though and it looks delish - I'm going to be trying the copycat recipe here at home for sure. :cloud9:

I’ve been to the one in Yorkdale in Toronto. Of course a long way from you.

We also have a spin off restaurant of Cheesecake Factory near us called Grand Lux Cafe. There used to be two in So Fla but now there’s only one. It too has a large menu with some items from Cheesecake Factory on the menu too. They have a few made to order desserts with their most popular being beignets. They also serve a few flavors of cheesecake.

There used to be a Rainforest Cafe in Toronto too; we were there once as it was always a favorite of ours in yesteryear Downtown Disney at DLR. Not sure if the chain exists anywhere now.
