Cheers to Character Cavalcades, Cocktails and Celebrations! 2/1 3 HUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

We did! And I also did a horrible job taking pictures this night; I think it was because we were just so happy to be together again!

OMG he was great and I could not believe he was old enough to have been working there since I was one lol! He did not look that old. I love talking to CM's who have been around that long and you can tell they love their job :goodvibes
I know. Joe and I were just so happy to see you.
Michael was fabulous.
Have a great trip. Text me pics❤️

Our server was Michael and he had been working for Disney since 1972 and was honestly a delight. He gave us enough time between courses, was lovely to chat with, kept our water glasses full, and brought out a special dessert for Steve to celebrate his milestone birthday. For our dessert, Joe and I shared the vegan carrot cake. We had this in March and were dying to try it again. It was so delicious and light.
I know I already commented on You Tube but just have to say again how awesome that dinner at Narcoosees looked. I love, love, love it there!

How funny you got Italy! What a cute little concept with these boxes - I'll have to look into it. It's also a great gift idea for world travelers stuck home these days because of Covid... I'll have to keep that in mind for my Christmas lists! :thumbsup2

Nice teaser for another video... curious to see what you had to spit out so you wouldn't vomit  "It's always interesting with you" Joe says. And that's what makes you two stand out - your personalities are so fun!

Suse, we love it too. It's such a classy restaurant.

Joe and I really thought it was awesome that we got Italy first. I think I want to send a box to Gia.

Thank you. We said if we were going to do this that we would;d be100% authentic, lol!

Thursday morning Joe and I slept in. We showered, got dressed, and then took our time driving over to Hollywood Studios. We got a pretty good parking spot, considering we arrived about 30 minutes after park opening.

The first thing we noticed upon entering the park was that it was CROWDED. The lowest wait time on MDE was 60 minutes for Alien Swirling Saucers. Yep, that would be a big NO. We were hoping to at least get one ride in before our lunch reservation with the besties, but it was obvious that that wasn't going to happen. We were meeting @CruellaNY and Steve at Hollywood Brown Derby. We had been texting prior to our arrival and they thought it was extremely busy too, so we met up and walked over to HBD, hoping we could get in a little early. SUCCESS! They were more than willing to seat us before our allotted time. #winning

We started with drinks, of course. Ariane and I had Bloody Mary's. I can't remember what Steve had but Joe and some girly drink with a glow cube in it, lol! For our entrees, I had the famous Cobb salad with grilled shrimp and Joe had the shrimp and grits. We both enjoyed our meals and they totally hit the spot. I really love the HBD and we haven't had a meal here that we didn't enjoy.

After a wonderful lunch with our awesome friends, Ariane and Steve decided to head out. Joe and I decided to brave it and waited 90 minutes to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. We had to. We didn't get the chance to ride it in July and I really needed my fix. It's such a cute ride and I really really like it.

After that, we had reservations at Oga's Cantina to have some drinks. We were seated at the same, exact spot at the bar where we were seated in July, smack dab in the middle. In my opinion, this is the best spot! It's just a great place to be able to see everything around you with no obstructions, especially this day since the bar was still limiting capacity. We each had a Fuzzy Taun Taun and then Joe and I tried the Bespin Fizz. This was a surprise hit. It was so refreshing and bubbly.

After our time at the bar, we were able to ride Smuggler's Run, Alien Swirling Saucers (walk-on), and TSMM X2. We also had time for a Ronto Wrap and a couple of milks. But, we weren't done yet. We had one more thing to get done before heading out for the day...

Next up, Joe and I look for scrap metal...

We were on this ride back in March and really liked it. The part of the ride that they are not running during the Covid restrictions is very cute. We probably won't try to ride it again until everything is back to normal again. :)

It is very interesting that HBD has an elevator button for Club 33. I wonder if one actually exists there.

From what I understand, they just added the plexiglass barriers to this ride which I personally think is a BIG mistake. I think it's going to distort everything around you and make it harder to see. They just should have continued socially distanced seating...

HBD looks like a great place... I have to remember to try it next time!! Also been inside Oga's but never tried any of the drinks...they look really good...sigh. One day!!

I can't believe the line for MMRR was still so long!! That's nuts!!

I hope the problems with the crowds are better with the new 7 am boarding group pick.
I had the famous Cobb salad
I love that salad! And am obsessed with the rolls there.....so soft and warm!

I can't wait to try it out next August!

Every time I watch one of your Oga's vlogs, I get more and more excited about finally going there!

HBD has become a must-do for us at HS. That Cobb salad calls to me, lol!

I think it's going to stay crowded, especially sine capacity has increased, but just my opinion.

It's sooooo cute!!!

It's just so detailed. And the drinks are so creative.

I was able to get two of the attraction toys before they pulled them, ugh! I got 1&3. I hope they do return soon as the glitch is fixed!
I heard they are going to be re-released. We shall see...

Just finished binge reading this today. Thanks for all of your vlogs, I started watching when you first started - I guess I should really set-up an account and add one more subscription for you. I'm not really sure how all that works. You guys are too much fun......love the Disney drinkers. I watch while connected to the tv - so I don't think I can like, comment, etc.

Thank you so very much. We really appreciate any support we can get. 😁

I had no idea there was a Club 33 at the HBD?!?! How cool!

I still haven't forgiven Disney for getting rid of my beloved Great Movie Ride, so I enjoyed watching the new ride on your vlog since I haven't yet ridden myself

I'm sure you've mentioned this before, but I can't remember at the moment. Is starting your YouTube channel something you'd wanted to do for a long time? You'll be at 700 subscribers in no time!!!

It's something we were planning on doing once we moved to Florida (in just a few more years, finger's crossed). But, one day we just decided to start it early to see if anyone would be interested...We had originally planned on just a Disney channel with a little St Pete thrown in but it has developed into so much more and at times, pushed us out of our comfort level, lol!

I am so far behind on your trip but I am here! I will hopefully catch up soon!
Thank you so much for popping in!!! 😁

Hey! I know I told you the boys thought MMRR was ok but don't think I told you that I liked it a little bit better the 2nd time lol. Still not better than GMR but it grew on me a bit!
