cheerleading summit

My family will be in the parks from may 1st thru the 10th. What affect does everyone think the cheerleading summit will have on the parks?

You will see them a lot if you are staying at one of their Resorts(All-Stars-Pop Century-Caribbean Beach).

In the Parks,you may see them from time to time,but they won't have what I would consider a major affect on the Parks.

The Dance portion is in Epcot,but they will be in World ShowPlace so virtually no affect there.

Prepare to hear a lot of chants at various times. We heard them prior to Illuminations.

Beyond that, not much of an impact, IMO.

My family has stayed at Pop Century while the cheerleaders were there. It was fun to see them outside practicing.

You will see a lot of cute hairdos. I've always envied that about cheerleaders, they have great hair ribbon style.

I went during Pop Warner time a few years ago. There was no extra crowding in the parks or rides. Downtown Disney was a different story...

Lots of kids around the parks, but it ends on the 3rd, so I seriously doubt there will be much residual effect after that date! We will be there as well! It is a great time of year!

In past years I remember random squealing and screaming. It comes with the age I guess....... In large groups they are sometimes a pain because they forget there are "civilians" around (ie take up the whole sidewalk, randomly stop in front of people and squeal OMG!!). But with the thousands of other guests they are mostly just fit in the general chaos.

But after a trip in January with large groups of teenage girl Brazilian tourists, the cheerleaders are nothing.
