Anyone going for the cheerleading spirit nationals next weekend? (3/23-3/25).

I'll be there with my goddaughters from 3/22-3/26! Can't wait!

We're headed to Nationals on the other coast in two weeks. As this is our first year, I wish we could have started with our home away from home. But the gym switches coasts each year, and last year was Orlando, this year Anaheim.

We will just have to make due with Universal Hollywood & Disneyland.

We're All Stars L2 Juniors (my daughter) and we're also bringing a L3 senior team.
Its my daughters first year and I dont think she's ever been more excited about anything. grin.
I think I might be a bit excited to. hee hee hee

It's my girls first year going also; they are on 3 All Star teams this year:
-Youth Level 2 Small
-Junior Level 3 Small
-Senior Level 2 Small

What team are your girls on? We're Platinum Cheer

Yes, I saw the schedule- We got all excited "checking out" the competition. grin.
We're the Gems All Stars out of Rockaway NJ.
We just had our last parent meeting last night. AND my daughter got her back tuck at the same time!
Too much excitement! grin.

Just got back and we saw tons of cheerleaders arriving as early as yesterday .. a good table of 10ish at Hard Rock when we ate, but they weren't loud or anything.

This is an old thread but I wanted to say THANK YOU to any of the moms and girls if you happend to be one that my six year old stopped and asked for a picture with

We had no clue, we just went that weekend and OMG my daughter was THRILLED!!!!!

My daughter takes a "simple" class right now and loves anything to do with cheerleading , she stoped MANY of the girls who were all (except one, ouch) was so nice to her and all let me take her picture with them!!

All the girl look great good job !!

On behalf of ALL cheerleaders and moms I apologize for that one "ouch". Was it a group or was it an individual girl? We found most of the other cheerleaders to be really fun and nice too- we got 3rd in our division and were absolutely thrilled. That would have been so cute if your daughter had approached one of our girls- would have made MY daughters day. How cute is that!

Ohhh I wish she was one we walked by because my daughter WOULD have asked, lol.
No it was one girl and I have no idea, we all have bad days/moments even and maybe she was just taken back, maybe she thought we were strange, LMAO!!!
It was no big thing
I have so many picture I want to share because it was so cute but not sure if it would be OK to be sharing pics of the girl, ya know, I dont know them....

And CONGRATS on 3rd thats in GREAT!!!! Where are you guys from?

We're the GEMS CHEERSTARS from Rockaway NJ. I agree, Id be hesitant to post other kids photos, although Id love to see them myself, you're smart not to...
We had such a great time at that competition. We cant wait for next year!!!
