Cheerleaders March 2-9?

I thought I heard a comment about cheerleaders being there in March. Anyone know? where are they staying? Trying to determine what size advil I should pack.

Yes--The cheerleading group from my town is going down the beginning of March. I think they are staying at the All Stars--but of course, my SIL will be staying at the GF!!! Most of the families are only planning one evening and one day at the parks. The rest of the time they are going to be competing! Most of the families I know are very considerate and involved. My DD(8) can't wait to go with her team in a few years. I think it sounds like fun

I read somewhere that the cheerleaders would be performing at the Indiana Jones site on Saturday, March 12th...this could make MGM busier that day.

Thanks! Nothing against cheerleaders. Teenage girls in general, but especially in large packs.

Yes there is a comp at WDW March 11-15th. My daughters team will be there that week to compete. Almost all hotels have cheerleading in them. Practices and chants will be leading the way until its over.

There was a competition going on when we were at WDW the weekend of February 11 to the 13. Our first full day was at MGM and it was no more crowded than usual. All competitions take place on the Indiana Jones stage. Most of the girls stay there to watch the other squads compete. Don't count out MGM too quickly.

My step-daughters will be there from 3/10 - 3/14 competiting. Last year the competition was held a WOS and not MGM. They really aren't that bad, but then again last year the girls stayed at All-Star and we stayed at POR!!!
