Cheerleaders in Feb. or just March?

I've been reading about a lot of cheerleading groups heading to Orlando for Nationals. I was wondering if this just happens in March, or if they have different competitions at different times? Just want to make sure I plan around these times, as I'm sure the parks, AS resorts will be packed. Dh and I are planning a trip for early Feb. TIA

We've never been to WDW in March but have experienced the influx of the squads many times earlier in the year.

We were there this year in early Feb. and saw plenty of cheerleaders (they even had a huge party after-hours in MK), so I'd say good luck in scheduling "around" them.

We were in Disney World a few years ago the last week in Jan and first week of Feb., a bus driver told us that for approx 6-7 different weekends there is an influx of dance teams/cheerleaders for Nationals. He didn't say which weekends but you may be fine during the week but lookout for Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun maybe Monday. Depending on their arrival and departure days.

we've had cheerleaders there in February several times -- never the first week, but definitely later in the month.

We've been there a couple of times when the cheerleaders where there. Both times were in December.

Both times we were at the All Stars. The resort was crazy! Loud groups of girls everywhere, the food court was a mad house. Loud giggles and screams till late at night. However, I don't recall seeing even one cheerleader in the parks on either trip. Or at least they were not so hyper in the parks if they were there so they didn't stand out.

Specifically we're planning on Feb. 7th-14th...it's the earliest we can go based on vacation times at work. Keeping my fingers crossed there won't be an influx, Dh and I are light sleepers and we're staying at AS Music

My Niece's high school dance team did Nationals in February.

My daughters' dance teams did Nationals in July- and they also performed on the tomorrowland stage a few years back.

there are so many "nationals" out there- that you can probably find them in the orlando area just about year round.

High schools and the like tend to do them in February March and the Dance school teams tend to do more in summer or early fall...
