I tried to find the posts relating to this, but I cannot seem to.

My DH and I just decided to do to Disney 12/6 - 12/13. Due to budget constraints, we are going to stay at the all stars.

Any ideas if cheerleaders are there that week and which AS they usually stay at?

Thanks for the help!

Dana

I've read SO MANY bad reviews of how these (mostly unsupervised) kids act that I'm glad I won't be there at this time. From what I've heard they stay all over the All Star Resorts. Sorry for the bad news...

Ugh.

I've only encountered small groups of cheerleaders during Easter but I absolutely can not stand the constant cheering while waiting in line. Talk about a captive audience. There is no where to go.

It is like a Saturday Night Live skit (anybody remember the acrobats that poured a cup of coffee to the "Ta - Da"). The hands will start, then they start stomping, heads begin to roll to the beat.

Sigh.

We were at Disney two years ago at the beginning of Dec and stayed at Port Orleans. We wanted to stay at the bayou section but when checking in were told that all the Pop Warners were staying there, and they suggested we stay in the mansion section instead. So at least for that year they were staying at resorts other than the value resorts. We really had no problem with them, sometimes when coming or going we did run into some cheerleading practice on the mansion lawns, but that is about the only time we encountered them. Even at the dining hall, we never saw them. I don't know if we were just lucky to miss them or what, but we had no problems. Good luck to you if you are there at the same time.

I had to laugh when I read the post about the cheering in line.My husband got out of lines more than once because it got so annoying. When we ate at The 50's Prime Time they were running around the restaurant doing cheers and singing.Every time the line moved at test track they all shouted "ready let's go".That was only a few occasions though.A tip though don't try to eat at Planet Hollywood at night. There are so many large groups of kids with only a couple from each actually waiting in the line what looks like a short wait could turn into a couple of hours.
