Cheer competition in march..hotel help!

Hello all....

You guys have been such a big help in the past that I am hoping for a little more


The weekend of March 19th we have a cheer competition at the convention center.....we are trying to find a hotel within walking distance of the convention center (girls will be in full attire/makeup/hair) so it isnt the walking distance i can do with the family....or a shuttle that can take people quickly cause we will have about 100 people there all tolled....probably 30-33 rooms


We are looking at the double tree but it seems kinda pricey....especially since we wont be in a room that long.....but we dont want a dump i will probably change hotels for a 5 day disney trip after, but the convention center would be the most important

Having been through this for the last 5 years, many girls stay at the Anaheim Plaza. Also the Hilton, which is right there. Check with your club, they usually block out a group of rooms for their girls. I know there are other hotels right near the Hilton, but I can't think of the names.

I used to go to a regular convention at the convention center and we usually stayed at either the Hilton or at the Marriott across the street. Both are huge so getting group reservations should be possible.
