what is the cheepest way from MCO to CBR ...
Two people with only carry on luggage ...
Thanks
(no Magical Express)

I think the public bus system (Lynx) runs from the airport to the TTC. I'm not sure if it's a direct route. I would imagine you would change buses somewhere along the way. Once you got to the TTC you could take Disney transportation. I don't think there is anything cheaper unless you hitchhike.

I agree with SafetyMom - why not use Magical Express? It's the least expensive (aka free) mode of transportation between MCO and any Disney-owned resort. Sure, the Lynx bus is "only" $1.25 per person BUT - you take the bus from the airport to downtown Orlando (northwest when you want to go southwest) then transfer to a bus that drops you off in the Magic Kingdom parking lot. From there, you need to take the monorail or ferry to the Magic Kingdom, then board the bus for CBR.
There's always the Mears shuttle - about $17 per person one way, you need to wait for the vehicle to fill, then who knows which stop you'll be? My 'luck' has always been that I'm the last one dropped off.
Then there are taxis and town cars, prices about equal - $40 to $50 one way, plus tip. Town cars need to be reserved in advance; a taxi you can just get in line outside arrivals. Or, for somewhat more money, you can reserve a limousine.
Or you could rent a car.
But you DID ask for the cheapest way, and DME is it!

here is the deal ...
we reseved a room for my parents using a redemption certificate we have, when we made the resevations the CM told us that my husbands name HAD to be on the resevation even though he will not be in the room (we have a room of our own also at CBR.) Two rooms/four adults right ... wrong ... according to the CM the second room now had three adults in it and we needed to pay extra for that extra adult (my husband and my parents) I complained and complained but in the end that was that ... over a $100 bucks for the extra charge or not offically put my mother on the reservation. Because we did not put her name on the resevation she can not use ME.

Why don't you change the reservation to your husband & father in one room and you and your mother in the other?

The CM said that my husbands name had to be on both resevations no matter what because his name is on the certificates ... she agreeded that my husband would not be in the room with my parents but that is how it had to be booked and because my parents are over the age of 18 (LOL) there would be an extra fee ...
