Lori thanks for the advice on the ticker. I'll try and make one today. Nothing much going on over here today. This morning I'm doing a little volunteering at DD's school. Then I get to fight the crowds at WalMart. No, nothing exciting at all.

Morning! It's another one of those days for me. Smashed my finger in a drawer this morning and then dropped my mac and cheese all over the floor in the kitchen here at work. Looks like I'm going out for lunch today.

Are all you chicks hiding today? Where's everybody? Quiet, day, I guess I'll talk to myself. Since I had to go buy a lunch today, I thought I would go to the natural food store and get a good sandwich. As my luck would have it, they were closed because the electricity was off. I then had to go across town to a place that wasn't affected.

Hey Chickies!
I'm just wrapping up another lovely day in the fine state of Arkansas. Lovely 'cept for the monster paper cut I'm nursing. File folder paper cut. I'm thinking of filing for worker's comp.
Had a yummy dinner. Now I'm gonna hang out with the Willster for a bit. He's on spring break and is trying to break previous stay-up-late-records. Sigh. Those were the days.

Good Morning. My friends are coming into town today and I'm hoping to have dinner with them so I'm looking forward to the end of the day. Drat, it's only 9:00.

Hi Susan. That sounds like fun. Where are your friends from? Are you going some place for dinner tonight or just drinks?

My friends are from my home town about 3 hours to the east of here. This is my best friend from high school, although we've been friends since at least 4th grade. We bonded in high school over a common love of New Kids on the Block. She and her husband have remained my best friends and her daughter is who I consider one of my neices although that is an honorary title and not official. Anyway, Dina, her daughter, brother, and mother are going to have dinner with me, so where we eat depends on the 3 year old's current mood. And she's moody. I know where I want to go, which is a great local steakhouse, but I have a feeling we will end up at a beachside restaurant where we can eat outside (and freeze) and Alyssa can make noise and run around.

No,no,no. Lord no. The "Mom and Me" trip refers to Will and me.
My mom wants to go sometime. She's curious because she sees how crazy I am about the place and she hasn't been since she took us back in '77. I'm trying to get her and Dad to take a trip down next summer and meet Will and me down there. She won't fly--she's claustrophobic-among a few other weird little maladies. Plus, I would opt out if I had to take her there myself and didn't have dad there to supervise. She would make me nuts. Love her to death. But the woman is difficult.

No! I am about 4 hours north of the O.C. While, I do live near a beach town, it is far removed from that scene. It's a cheesy, touristy little place with tacky souvenir stores and lots of restaurants claiming to make the worlds best clam chowder. I actually live about 10 miles from the beach though, in a very normal town.

Afternoon everyone! how are you all?? Busy Busy today with cleaning and playing and bathing, but finally everyone is napping and i have some peace until i see DH in a little over an hour!
