Checking the price of our FD dates and..

Ok, I don't know why I do this but I rechecked the dates for our booked FD from Dec 14th to the 21st. We paid 3500 for 2 adults and 2 kids.
I checked and it's now 6100!
I was just messing around and keep hoping cbr or riverside will open up. Why would that be?

Just to clarify, I was checking as a new reservation, not on our existing one. I just wonder why it had gone up so much?

I assume you are looking at CSR (since CBR and POR aren't available) and after looking online, the more expensive room types are the only choices available with FD for your dates. The Jr suite is showing $6100 with FD (rack rate is $500-600/nt), with a 1 bedroom suite just over $8000.

Ah ha! You're right that probably is it. I didn't check to see what types of rooms that price was for...

I originally booked at ASMU standard room for $4100 for 10 nights, 4 adults, 10 day PH's and FD upgraded to DDP. I was then able to change to CBR for $4200.

Just looking around later I found ASMU same exact package, room etc. for $4400. Disney has been changing the rates for the fall!

I'm REALLY keeping my fingers crossed that they open up Cbr or PO. We live in Vegas so I'm not super excited to be staying in a desert themed resort and I just know we're going to be stuck in Ranchos
