Hello everyone! :D

Just checking out the buzz on WL. I am trying to get a 'Disney Birthday' trip planned for my youngest DS for February (the week before Pres Day).

WL would be our first choice.

What's a 'good' rate for a standard room? Should I stick to a standard? What other 'room advice' would you offer? All is welcomed

I'm just starting the long journey of Disney research and planning (half the fun ;)

we always request a woods view. we just like it better. and if you are lucky to be on the MK side of the lodge, you just might be able to see the castle.

WL is the best! My DH was a huge Disney skeptic, having never been. We took our DD for her 4th birthday last September and stayed at the WL. My husband was mesmerized by the place, so much so that a year later he still talks about it. He loved everything about the place: the lobby, the music, the pool, the boat rides to MK, and the chili at the fast food place (the name escapes me right now, maybe Roaring Forks?). It was a wonderful experience and we are going back in 9/2004. Have fun.
