We are planning on purchasing DVC but not sure which resort. SSR sounds very appealing. The only time we have to go would be Memorial day weekend or July 4th to tour the resorts. We already own at Wyndham (Fairfield) so we are familiar with the timeshares. Does Disney do the typical timeshare tour or offer any free incentives? We will probably go to one of the parks for a day since we will not have alot of time there. It would be a plus (and cost savings) if they offered free tickets. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

When we toured in October we got two $10 (or $15 I forget) gift cards and free ice cream. You tour the rooms and then you go back and talk business. I know other people have gotten fast passes but as far as free tickets I doubt they would do that.

I got 2 free Premium annual passes (to either Disneyland or WDW):thumbsup2

But I think it was an offer only available at the Disneyland DVC center. And you had to actually buy, not just take a tour. I also got a $50 gift card.

Genreally, DVC doesn't offer many "gifts" for touring - sometimes lunch, or Fastpasses. They really haven't needed to, and I suspect that they'd have a ton of "looking not buying" business if they offered anything more than a token for your time.
