Checking one piece of luggage at MCO after DME question..

I plan on checking my luggage and getting boarding passes through resort check in at my hotel (BLT). I will have one large bag that I will be taking with me on the DME bus to the airport. When I arrive at MCO I want to check that bag with Southwest before I go through security.
What is the best way to do this?

Should I go in the regular Southwest check-in line even though I'll already have my boarding pass? Is there another way (if that line is really long....).

I am guessing that one large bag is either oversized or overweight. You will have to wait in the line at the SWA counter to check it....

Thanks for the reply. No the bag will be normal luggage size and under weight. I just meant that it was not a carry on size.

You'd still have to go to the Southwest counter and check it.

There *might* be a bag drop only line...some airlines and airports have them. I avoid Southwest like the plague, so I have no clue what they do in terms of that kind of set-up.

You might be able to check it curb side. It's okay that you have your boarding passes already, just don't choose the option to reprint them.

We were there once when the inside line was long. My friend used the sky caps right outside. It was quick and the tip was worth it.

Is curbside or the skycaps on the same level at MCO as the check in desk?
