Hi Gang! What's going on tonight? Harry Potter at UO is really coming along. I saw some recent pictures on the UO forum.

I haven't seen the pics. I'm looking forward to this attraction. The AD during the super bowl was great. I hope it lives up to the hype.

Hi Aaron and Paul. Already have my US tickets to do Potter after 2.0. Thats the earliest I'll be able to do it but Deb may sneak a trip without me when she's there end of April.

We're doing the same thing. This has the potential for a December mini meet. George, will HP be open for Deb to visit in April?

A mini meet sounds cool. While nothing is definate on the opening, I keep hearing rumors of early April / by Easter. Deb is going the 25th so there could be a possibility. She says she won't go until December but if it was me I wouldn't wait.

I saw a Harry Potter package deal open up yesterday. It's for dates from May 28th - Dec. 31st. That means the HP island will be open by May 28th, but I'm guessing they'll have an extensive soft opening. I'm guessing soft openings will be in late April. It will be close George.

My family is super excited about Harry Potter and really looking forward to the new attractions. For the first time ever I think we'll try to stay on-site vs commuting back and forth from WDW. Does anyone have a preference of which US resort we should consider?

We've stayed at all of them. They're all nice but our favorite is Portifino Bay.

Thanks Paul! John and I are planning to do 3 nights at UO in December and that is the hotel I want, but we haven't decided yet.


Also thanks guys for being supportative of me, while I get my cheer back.
On the bright side of things all this working out has helped in the fact that I lost 2.6 lbs last week, with 46lbs to go!
However i don't feel like I am in any better shape!

Liz is IwishforDisney. She moved to Florida. On FB she posted that she could see the Spring training baseball players from her back yard. Lots of firm butts running by. The Yankees will be there on March 12th and so will I. I'll be camping out in Liz's backyard...MeOw!

Portofino is a great resort. Try trattoria del porto for the buffet breakfast. It might be the best in Orlando!
