Quick question. We arrive on Wednsday and we fly in late and won't get to our hotel until 11ish. I've made room requests but I"m so scared that we're going to get the rooms that are left over that noone wanted. Think I need to worry??? Thanks!

Yes that could happen. You could always ask to be moved the next day.

Depends on what you asked for. If it's something really specific like Building 5, first floor only on a corner, close to the food court but away from the crowds, near the pool but at least 50 yards away from it, king bed but not handicapped accessible and twenty hangers, then you might not get what you requested.

If you asked for first floor since you have kids, then your chances are fairly good.

In other words, the more you request, the less likely you will get everything you want.

Another note to this: the more detail you give on WHY you are making certain requests, the more likely you are to be accommodated. So for example, we've made requests "because we are very, very light sleepers" (and were trying to avoid the noisier locations, etc.). But back to the original question, yes -- rooms are given out each day in order of arrival time, but if you are really uncomfortable you may request a change.
