Checking in without everyone there for free dining period...

I will be waiting for my friend's flt to arrive, can i at least get my room so i can shower after hanging out at the pool all day waiting for her arrive?
She's not going to get there until 10:00 pm at the resort.

I know the food/passes are on the room key, can they let me have a room key without all that until she gets there?

I might have to talk her into doing a red-eye, lol.... she's might not go for that.

Yes. you can get your room key. I just called our resort and explained to them that my DH is arriving on a later flight and they said to just let them know at check in.After your friend arrives you can go to the front desk together and they will give you new KTTW cards with your dinning credits on it. I was told that I could not get our credits until he arrived.So you may have to pay for a meal OOP.I know that some people have reported getting their credits and not having everybody in their party there. i'm sure they will be strick during free dinning.
