Checking in with AP Voucher?

OK what's the scoop, can we check in with just an AP voucher or does it need to be activated? I hate the idea of having to run around after driving in from NY to activate the thing...

Anyone have experience with this?

No, it does not have to be activated.

It would be highly unusual if you're asked to show anything!

If you gave your info when purchasing the voucher, you prob won't be asked anything, since they have it in the computers. Some have reported showing a voucher and being asked to stop by during the visit to show you have gotten the actual ticket. When we asked when we first got ours, if we needed to dig it out, she said no, all the info is in the computer already.
