We'll be at the PBH next month and I ws lucky enough to get an good AP rate. I have the voucher but we won't be getting to the parks before it's time to check in. Do I need to schlep over to the parks in order to activate the AP prior to checking in? Or will they handle it the way Disney does and just let me show them an activated AP sometime before checkout?

You should be OK. We were never even asked for our AP at RPR. In fact after checking-in, I went over to the concierge desk and purchased my AP pass. I didn't even have the voucher yet. Worst case scenario is you have to go activate it and come back. Incovenient but just costs a little time.

Rescue, I've purchased my AP online and have confirm. #. Are you saying you were able to purchase your AP at the concierge desk at RPR? And the voucher you're talking about...did you order online? I'm assuming you still have to go to one of the parks to get the AP picture taken? Thanks.

We had the vouchers but weren't even asked for any proof. Actually I have never been asked for proof of ID for discounts at either the HRH or RPR.

The voucher is what they gave me at the concierge desk. Yes, I did purchase it at the concierge desk. They sell all forms of ticket media there. I did not know that they sold tickets at the hotel til I got there but it was very convenient. Oh, and yes you do have to have it activated at one of he parks.

Ok, thanks. Depending on whom I've talked to at RPR, Universal, and Loew's........well, you guessed it...all different answers! One person even told me I would have to go to the parks WITH my luggage before being able to check in or even have them hold my luggage for me!!! Sheesh!! I knew that one wasn't right!!

Thanks Damo! We had such a great time at RPR last year. After being in charge of planning last year's and worrying through the first 2 days of vacation about any forgotten details....well, guess it's getting close to that time again! Besides, I've made all the reservations and it's too early to start packing. All that's left to do right now is worry about silly little things
