Checking in question

We are stayinng at gf and thought we would check in around 11 i know room won't be ready but i want to get my tickets and free dining. My question is can i go straight from checkin to gasparilla for a bite before hitting the park or is there a time period before the ddp works on the card?

the DDP is good as soon as you get the resort ID.
