Checking in one day later...Magic Bands?

Here's my questions. My friend will be checking into the dvc resort 1 day before me. I will be driving and he offered to let us stay with him a day earlier if we want to get there a day sooner. Can i still go into the park since my magic bands wont be activated the next day when I check into my own room? If I can't get into the park, then I rather wait another day before driving.

You should have no problems getting into the parks. Your tickets are attached to your magic band and are active now. You just can't use your MB to access your room for another day.
