We check in at the Hard Rock Hotel on Sunday April 9, out on Friday the 14th - have the 5 day passes.

So the parks are going to be totally packed those days?

Advice, please - we've only been to IOA once, about 3+ years ago!

A few years ago we went during spring break time. Actually we got the very last room available in all resorts at the HRH. Because of FOTL, it did not feel crowded and we were not affected at all. If you were not staying on site, the story is a bit different as I recall the "other" lines being very very long. With the FOTL, we just breezed onto everything.

The only thing that may be affected is the more popular restaurants. It might be hard to get a seat at the bar at Finnigans or a table at Mythos. If you are planning on going to either of Emeril's restaurants, get a reservation now.

So don't worry, you will have a great time, you will not even notice.

Agree, for you things will be great.
South Florida is on Spring Break. I almost booked a trip up, then remembered the power passes are blacked out, oh well.

The advantage to going during this busy time, is the parks stay open until 10pm, and they may have fireworks. The plan of attack, is to show up early for front seat rides on the coasters, get all the rides done, then go back to the hotel in the afternoon to rest and hang out at the pool. Around 5pm, go back to the parks for the evening, you'll see the masses leaving the park tired out. You basically want to avoid the parks from the hours of noon to 4pm, that's rush hour. You may have FOTL, but you'll notice tons of people in the walk ways, and you'll get tired of dodging them.

Thanks for the assurances, you two!

DH insisted on the HRH - instead of a house, because of FOTL. Looks like it's worth it!

Hmmm.... parks, break, parks.... may be a plan, if I can get everyone else to do it!

We've been looking at the All you can eat pass - it looks like this is the best time to get these!
