Checking in from home 10 days before arrival? Having problems....Please Help!

were your two rooms connecting? I have two rooms booked at Pop in September. My only request was for the rooms to be connecting if possible. I would love to do online check in and save myself the (possibly) long wait when we arrive, but I wonder if my connecting room request might be an issue with the online check in. If we can't get connecting rooms (I know they are not guaranteed) I would at least like them to be as close to each other as possible. My DD19 will be in the other room. Anyone know?
I'm wondering the same thing about the connecting rooms. My parents are going with us.
 
Lauralong81: Check the other post under this section titled "Having trouble checking in on line" they mentioned another website to use to check in. Hope this helps I just read the other post not sure about the success of it.

If it was me, I would rather talk to them at the front desk and find out what I was getting rather than just have them hand me everything already done. I don't know what happens if you are not happy with what they gave you if you did online check-in.
 
Does anyone konw if you can link a cc to the adults, but have "No Charging" for the kids' KTTW's when checking in online?
 
What happens if you do the online check in and are placed in an area you do not want? Either way, if you get a room area you are not interested in, is there a chance of changing? I would hate to do online, get something I didn't want and then still have to wait in the line. Any ideas?

I read on another thread that someone was NOT able to change locations because she had done online checkin. They told her that the online checkins were "locked" and couldn't be changed.

That didn't happen to me personally, so can't say for sure. But that is what was posted.

thanks to you both. Normally I wouldn't really care where our room was located, but with DD being in her own room, I want to be sure they put us either in connecting rooms or adjoining rooms. I did ask that our reservations be linked together but I guess I won't take my chances with online check in.
 
I would imagine that if you did not receive the location you wanted you could go over to the regular check-in area to see if it could be changed. I would imagine if you have your reservations linked together you shouldn't have any problems doing the online check-in. Should you not receive what you wanted when you arrive then step over to the regular check-in area to have it changed.

I would hope so but I guess if you don't get what you want in any situation that they might tell you that requests are just that...requests. But I guess I was just wondering if you do online check-in if you are more "likely" to get your requests or not. Anyone with recent personal experience?

I would think you would have a better chance at getting your requests fulfilled if you checked in online 10 days prior to arriving than those that didn't. Disney would be able to review your requests that are in the system and block those set of rooms 10 days before those who didn't use the online check-in system. I can't wait to try it out myself to see how well this system works. Unfortunately, requests are just requests and no guarantee, but I could see this system working alot better than just showing up and hoping for the best.

My brother and I are going in May, and we have a room with dining booked at POR. But our tickets are separate right now...we have vouchers that we'll need to exchange at a ticket window. Will we be able to add these tickets to our KTTW card?
 
What type of vouchers do you have? Regular tickets or an AP? If it's an AP you won't be able to have those added. If they're regular tickets you should be able to take those over to the conceirge desk to have them added.

They are 5 day park hoppers with the waterpark feature. They are the Military Salute tickets.
 
I doubt you'll be able to have them added since they are Military Salute tickets. I know we couldn't have them added in the past.

That's the big question. Do they actually block specific rooms any earlier for those who do online check-in? I would think it would be difficult at 10 days to know which rooms will actually be open on check-in day.
