We will be checking in on 9/24 at Saratoga Springs, and we will have additional family checking in on 9/26, but won't be arriving until evening. Can I check them in if I am not staying in that room?

Thanks

I do not believe this is a policy at WDW. You need to be present to check in.

If being close to each other is a factor, why not wait to check-in when your friend does?

It is my understanding you would have to put the charges on your credit card then. Is there a reason you want to check them in?

When we went with my sister we had two rooms that we asked to be beside each other at ASMu. Our flight from one side of Canada came in the morning while theirs was very very late at night from the other side. We asked if we could check in for them so that they had a room etc. They said that they couldnt do that but that they would make sure the room would be held beside ours ( however they wouldnt say which side of us they were on) They just put us through on the phone to each other and we found our way quite easily.
