Checking in at Porotfino

We are Club Level at Portofino and are wondering is there a special place to check in? Or just at the regular front desk? Also will the Club level staff contact us before our arrival as Disney Resorts do? Sorry if the questions are repeats but this is our first Universal trip...we feel like such traders! Wea re doing 1 night at each Universal Resort then off to WDW for 8 nights.

I think the check in is the same. There is a separate line for Loews First members. I have not stayed Club level at any of the Universal resorts, but I have stayed at each of them and have always been contacted via e-mail by each resort prior to my arrival. The e-mail included the e-mail address for the concierge. On my last trip I did e-mail the concierge with Q's and I heard from them promptly.

If you are spending consecutive nights at each resort, I think I have read on here that the concierge will assist in getting you checked in at the next resort, and that luggage services will take care of transferring your bags for you.
