I have a question regarding DME. We are DVC members doing split stay and my immediate family will arrive 4 days before my extended family flies down to meet up with us. If I check in at the DME counter in MCO when I arrive will my family who is arriving later in the week also need to check in at that counter. Or since I already ahve can they proceed directly into their bus line.

I'm not 100% sure on the issue of the later part of your group's procedure but I can tell you that you do not check in at the counter unless you do not have vouchers. If you have the DME package you bypass the counter and go straight to the start of the line up area. They take the vouchers and then direct you to the right line for your resort.

They should proceed to the counter, but likely will just be waved through to the bus lines. They will need to have their DME vouchers with them. If they don't have the vouchers, they will need to go to the actual DME desk to get appropriate documentation. This all assumes that they have the required reservation with DME.

Everyone, depending on what day you arrive, must check-in with the CM right at the end of the line for the counter.

If you have vouchers for that day, they will ask you to proceed directly towards that beginning of the bus queuing area . The CM will take a coupon voucher from your booklet and then write on the voucher how many bags you checked for each person. Then they will direct you to the proper bus line.

When you relatives arrive later/earlier, they must do the same thing.

If someone in the party does NOT have vouchers, they will proceed to the check-in counter for further assistance.

DME rolls over by the day. It is not like a resort, where you are checking in for the entire week on a particular day and not everyone will be arriving at the same time.

Don't forget that members of your family/party arriving on a later day need their DME reservations made for that later day.

If there is no CM roaming about to precheck your paperwork and send you to the bus line, you must get into the welcoming counter line.
