We are going to Pop Century and the season changes during our stay. As a matter of fact it changes the next day. We have two separate reservations, so we have to check in and out. How has your experience doing this worked out. Was it worth it?

Painless. We did it at AKL last year. They might check both reservations in at the same time, espceially if you are keeping the same room.

We did this last time as well. As long as your reservations are linked you may not have to change rooms.
The resort even went so far as to arrange a time when they would meet us at our room to drop off and have us sign for the new keys-didn't need to stand in line at guest services again! Worked great!

I did this at POFQ recently - it was no hassle, she made sure our room was available for both reservations so we didn't have to change and then on the morning I just stopped by the Guest Services desk quite early (on our wya to the park) and did the paperwork - took maybe 2 minutes.

We've done this, no problem.

Reservations CM said to put the phrase "Continuing reservation" on the notes for your reservation. Call reservations and have them do this for you. The room assigner at the resort should see this note and try to keep you in the same room.

Also, when you check in, remind them again that this is a "continuing reservation" and if at all possible, you'd appreciate being able to stay in the same room.

You will have to go to the front desk before check out time on the switch over day and handle the paperwork.
