Checking Car Seats While Flying

Hello. The other carseat post was closed before I could post this but I think it is important to know. I never thought about this until I read it on a car seat safety site. We all know how they throw luggage around on the plane ( You should see how some of my strollers have come back) But if they throw it around and it gets cracked the carseat is no longer safe to use. I would have never looked to check for cracks, also this is just not something I would have thought or worried about. This is just an FYI.
