We will be arriving to our hotel around 10 am. I don't expect our room to be ready, so will need to check bags.

Has there been any issue with checking items such as laptops, etc? They will b in laptop bags, and/or duffels.

Also is there any issue with checking food, or cases of pop or water. Trying to save some bucks by bringing some snack items to the room. I won't have anything that needs refrigeration.

Thanks...GETTTING CLOSER:cool1::cool1:

We check everything on the day we arrive and the day we leave. We have never had any issues.

Sort of on the same subject...

When you check bags and the room isn't ready, do Universal resorts generally deliver the bags to the room when it's ready? Last time when we stayed at RPR, they said they wouldn't deliver the bags for some reason and we had to claim them at bell services and take them to the room ourselves. A little of a pain after getting back after a long day at the park. Just wondering if this is the way it usually works.

Thanks!

I normally don't use luggage service (once on checkout), but you don't have to get them yourself. When your room is ready they call you with the room number. Then when you get back to the hotel go to your room and call for your luggage to be brought up or go to luggage service and have them bring them to your room with you. I believe they won't deliver while you are not there so there is not a problem with missing or stolen bags.:thumbsup2

We normally leave the bags in the car then check in. If the room is ready (normally is for us) we go out to the car and take them ourselves. If the room is not ready, we go to the parks and wait for the call. On the way back we just swing through the parking lot and get the bags.

We are staying a PBR, when we arrive, is there a parking lot for guest checking in (like a WDW resorts) and when you are finished checking in you then go park and go to your room? Just wondering if I need to be ready to unload all of our stuff (there will be 5 of us, so alot of stuff) plus, maybe water and soda. If a bellhop assists us, how much do you tip? At WDW, we always brought our own luggage to the room. Just wondering how it works at PBR.
