Checkin Snafu at WLV....crisis averted:)

Hi,
Left BWV yesterday....great stay....great room and view

Went to WLV to check in and they don't have the DDP down They said they could not add it. Well.....I checked...rechecked...and checked everything before I left....so this was NOT acceptable.

I calmy told her this must be a mistake...if they looked at my previous 7 trips...I ALWAYS get the DDP.

Anyhoos after a LONG wait...which was fine...I just wanted it fixed...They come back and it was added.
She gives me the fee...and it seemed high....They still had my father down as arriving. My initial ressie was for a 2BR....then I switched to a 1BR when he wasn't coming....they must have dropped the DDP.

OMG Jackie at the front desk...I thought she would die when she had to call MS again to take my DAD off. I did mention that that would be 4 adults and a kid in the 1BR...which is past occupancy anyways.

Everything worked out....Jackie at the front desk was patient as a saint and all worked out well...

BTW I LOVE THE WLV....IT IS ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE DVC AND I'M SO HAPPY IT IS MY HOME RESORT

edit...I had a studio at BWV and a 1BR here at WLV and they were both ready at 12:30

Jackie was great....once I knew things would be straighted out....Life was in pixie land once again

Great view....of bay lake through the trees. Really nice trees and vegetation view looking through to see the lake. I'm on the 3rd floor. Wierd...my sofabed looks brand new...and it is the "old bar style". It does pull out with the strap on top....but i don't remember seeing a bar on the side anywhere else.

My carpet looks, drapes etc....look brand new....but I don't have a flatscreen If they didn't rehab my room yet it seems a shame to replace the stuff....looks brand new?
Off to the pool...M.K...and then dinner at Narcosee's

That is exactly what happened. When your 2 bedroom reservation was canceled and the 1 bedroom reservation made, the DDP does not automatically go to the 1 bedroom reservation. One needs to request that for the 1 bedroom reservation.

Great day today....wound up chilling at the pool so long....never made it to M.K. DD was having to much fun to leave....and the baybreezes were going down pretty good anyways
Tonite....DH and I try Narcosee's and DM is taking DD to 1900 Park Fare.

It's so nice to know the CM's will do whatever they can to make their guests happy. Another reason I felt confident in buying DVC

I am sooo Glad this worked out. Thanks for the heads up on changing a reservation. Sometimes I am in such a hurry to get off the phone with MS. I will have to make a Mental Note of this one.
