checked luggage questions

are those kid glow sticks allowed in packed luggage? How about putting items in old prescription bottles and throwing them in checked bags...will this be okay? Also, I have a lot of items like hairspray, shampoo etc placed in clear travel bottles. Hope this is fine. Finally, I packed some kids snacks and 6 bottles of water...FINALLY, I have 2 of those little freezer baggies that you freeze overnight then place in your cooler to keep water cold. is that allowed on the plane?

I replied on your other thread. Yes all those things are fine on checked luggage. Please remember liquids can ruin your and other belongings. If you are going to carry water please double or triple bag it to ensure it is just your items that would be ruined.

i carried hairspray in a checked bag and it was ok -just put everything that can leak in plastic bags (multiple) the bags are not treated gently.

When you ask questions like this, it's a good idea to let people know you're from Canada. You'll get better answers that way, because most people assume other posters are talking about domestic flights. There are some pretty major differences in what's allowed on US flights as opposed to Canadian flights.
