I've never checked the smaller suitcases with rollers that can be used as carry on. I'm assuming it is ok?? My husband's idea is to pack anything that has a chance of leaking in the smaller suitcase and check it. I'm attempting to bring a 64 oz container of apple juice for my daughter. Then he thinks we can put my deli meat with a bunch of ice packs in the checked luggage. (sensitive stomach and can't eat burgers etc.)
Does this sound ok? I think 3 large suitcases will be overkill but also didn't want to bring more than 1 carry on. With 2 young kids and a stroller I think that would be plenty.

There is no limit how small a bag can be checked. But I would not pack a container of apple juice in checked luggage (you definitely cannot take it in carryon through security). Many times those bags are handled roughly and there could be a huge mess if that would leak, not only to your luggage but to other people's luggage in the hold. I'm sure you can buy apple juice in Florida. I wouldn't pack meat either, that luggage could be sitting outside in the sun.

I would just use a grocery delivery service. If anything leaks, it will not only ruin your things, but other people's things as well.

Yes, that size suitcase can be checked, but please don't pack apple juice and deli meats.

Checke dluggage is nto meant to transport lagre amounts of grocery items and there is a good chance the apple juice will end up all over your luggage and several other pieces belonging to others.

Groceries are readily available in and around Disney World.

Ew, no. No way I would pack a meat product in ice, and then eat it later. There is no way of knowing how long the meat will sit in your luggage, partially unthawed. Just not healthy.

I agree with a previous poster, why not just use a grocery delivery service? You can order meat, juice, whatever you want. And not have to worry about it being unhealthy or leaking all over your (and other people's) stuff.

Be careful to with how heavy you are making your checked bags. Most airlines have made the fee on overweight bags astronomical! Having one suitcase inside the other is going to eat up a lot of your weight limit to begin with. Then adding lots of liquid and other stuff to it, you are just asking for trouble.
