Checked luggage as Carryon for ME

Hi! we are taking a short trip in Nov. and had only planned on carry on baggage before the new rules. If we only pack the things we can't carry on in a small checked case (toothpaste, hairspray, etc.), can we pick it up ourselves at the luggage carosel and carry it onto the ME bus, thus keeping everything with us?

Yes - you just have to be prepared to wait for the bag to come out.

Yes, you can, just don't put the Disney tags on it.
But, one question, why not just check everything? Make it easy on yourself and the other pax waiting in the security check lines? No carry ons make the line move faster.

Just don't put the ME tag on the bag you want to take with you on the bus. Only the ME-tagged bags are picked up by the ME people - they don't look at any other tags.

You can pick up that bag at the carousel yourself and then proceed to the ME check in.

We will have a carry one anyway for the things we'll need before ME would have delivered them. Plus for such a short trip, I didn't want to be worried about anything getting lost.
